Mary Cornelia Hurdle Pepper went to her heavenly home Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 4:10 p.m. at her home in Vaughan. 
She was under the care of StaHome Hospice since November 2017, after a 2 1/2 year battle with appendix/ ovarian cancer.

Thomas Richard Chaney, 59, of Yazoo City passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at his residence. 
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. at the Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel.

James Stephen “Steve” Trammell Sr., 70, of Hattiesburg and formerly of Holly Bluff, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January  13 at Parkview Church of God in Yazoo City.

A homemaker, she was a member of Midway Missionary Baptist Church.

Carol Kay Willingham, 75, of Benton originally of Yazoo City passed away Thursday January 4, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center- Yazoo. A retired LPN at King's Daughters Hospital she was a member of Fletchers Chapel United Methodist Church.

Freddie Lamar Stevens, 66, of the Little Yazoo community passed away at his residence Thursday, January 4, 2018. Retired from Mississippi Power & Light Company, he was also owner-operator of Stevens Auto Body and Wrecker Service. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Eleanor Campbell

Mrs. Eleanor G. Campbell passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Brandon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Dec. 27, 2017. She was born November 18th, 1923 near Brooklyn, MS in Forest County and was adopted from Mississippi Baptist Children’s Home by Mrs.
