Juanita Waltman Fulgham

June 12, 1929 – September 25, 2016
Juanita Waltman Fulgham was born June 12, 1929, in Copiah County, Mississippi.
J.W., as she was affectionately known by her loving husband, Charles “Blackie” Fulgham was 
loved by her many family members and her church family. Juanita and Charles would have been 
married 66 years on October 28, 2016.
Juanita was an active member of Yazoo City Church of Christ. She was a woman of 
many talents. Juanita was a business woman having owned a dress shop and an antique store.
They were avid travelers. Juanita and Charles loved to travel in foreign countries and
around the United States and with the Magnolia Messenger RV Rallies for many years. They 
spent happy times in Branson, Missouri.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, A. W. Waltman and Jimmie Dungan 
Waltman of Hazelhurst, Mississippi, and her brothers, Nelson Waltman and Wilfred Waltman.
Survivors are her husband, Charles: children, Edwin Fulgham (Mona), Mike Fulgham 
(Angelique), and Gloria Fulgham. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chas Fulgham, 
Mary Lauren Howard (Matt), Meryl Allen (Shane), Sara Dent Ledbetter (Joseph), Melanie 
Madden (Lou), Heather Russell (fiancé, Ryan Cobb) and 13 great grandchildren. 
Visitation will be held at the Yazoo City Church of Christ beginning at 10:00 a.m. until
time for the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., September 27, 2016. Burial will follow at Glenwood
Cemetary Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be Chas Fulgham, Matt Howard, Spencer Madden, Lou Madden, 
Joseph Ledbetter, and Ryan Cobb. 
Honorary Pallbearers are Jerry Waltman, Marty Waltman, Tony Waltman, Todd 
Waltman, Patrick Hall and Steve Board.
