Fred James Guthrie

Fred James Guthrie, age 86, of Birmingham, Alabama passed peacefully on June 8, 2018. He was born on October 25, 1931 in Midway, Mississippi to Johnie and IV Guthrie. He was one of six children.


Denzil Terry Bigbee

Denzil Terry Bigbee, 70 died June 12, 2018 in Jackson.  Visitation will be 5 pm until 8 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington.  Services will be 11 a.m.












Frank Tindall

Francis Marion “Frank” Tindall Jr., 84, died June 5, 2018 at his home in Bentonia.

Funeral services were Thursday at Indianola City Cemetery with Rev. Trent Sligh officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.


Margie Everett Vaughan

Margie Everett Vaughan, aged 93, died peacefully on June 3, 2018, at her home in Benton. 

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 8 at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Yazoo City. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30-11 a.m.
