Mary Elizabeth Smith, lifelong resident of Bentonia, MS, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018, in Yazoo City.  She is survived by her sister, Elaine Glisson (Clyde) of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and many adoring nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents

Sammy L. Collins, 74, of Brandon, passed away at his residence Thursday, May 10, 2018. Presently disabled he was an operator at Midland Container and a member of Lake Harbor Baptist Church.

Lillian M. Davis, 85, died May 8, 2018.

Funeral services are Saturday, May 12 at the Strickin-King Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lewis Kalil and Rev. Clint Ritchie officiating. Burial will follow at the Shelby Family Cemetery in Stringer.
