Stations of the Cross

Trinity Episcopal Church, located at 323 N. Main St., will observe Stations of the Cross each Friday during Lent at 12:05 p.m. The church invites the community to join them on March 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. Stations of the Cross refers to a series of images depicting Jesus Christ on the day of his crucifixion. The object of the stations is to help the Christians to make a spiritual pilgrimage by focusing on the Passion of Christ. The images are arranged in numbered order along a path and those attending walk from image to image, in order, stopping at each station to say the selected prayers and reflections.  Father George Woodliff of Trinity shows with one of the stations posted in the church courtyard.
